We offer both Third-Party Motor Insurance and Comprehensive Motor Insurance. The Third-Party covers third-parties who are affected by an accident only, while the Comprehensive variant covers both the insured and third-parties affected by an accident.

MOTOR THIRD PARTY
Third Party covers liability against damage to third party properties. It also covers death and bodily injury as a result of an accident caused by the insured vehicle.
MOTOR COMPREHENSIVE
Comprehensive covers loss or damage to insured vehicles arising from fire, theft, vandalism, accidental damage, or collision. Coverage also include Legal Liability for death, bodily injury, or damage to the property of third parties arising out of the use of insured vehicles. Other additional benefits provided by GIP Insurance include but not limited to installation of auto tracking device, legal liability arising as a result of accident, vandalism, malicious damage, damage due to riot and civil commotion.
The comprehensive motor insurance provides cover for:
- • Loss of or damage to the motor car resulting from accidental collision or overturning
- • Loss or damage resulting from fire or theft
- • Unlimited liability for death/bodily injury to third parties
- • Liability for damage to third party property up to a limit of N1,000,000.00
Extension
Strike, Riot & Civil commotion (SRCC), Excess Buyback (EBB) and Flood
Strike Riot and Civil Commotion (SRCC):
The Standard Motor policy does not cover loss or damage as a result of riot or civil commotion. However, the policy can be extended to cover same on paying additional premium
We offer the following additional incentives
- • Up to 50% Discount on the premium payable
- • Free Tracking device installation subject to the value of the vehicle
